Hemlock Semiconductor Seeking Construction Contractors for Clarksville Polysilicon Manufacturing Plant

SUGAR LAND--August 18, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation (Hemlock, Michigan), a joint venture between Dow Corning Corporation (Midland, Michigan) (63.25%), ShinEtsu Chemical Company Limited (Tokyo, Japan) (24.5%) and Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) (12.25%), indicates that site preparation is well under way for its $1.2 billion grassroot polysilicon manufacturing plant in Clarksville, Tennessee.
