EDF Inaugurates its Largest Windfarm in South America

July 26, 2024--Written by Amir Richani for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Electricite de France (EDF) (Paris, France) has inaugurated the Serra do Serido windfarm in Brazil's state of Paraiba. EDF announced the inauguration of the 480-megawatt Serra do Serido windfarm in Brazil's northeast, after three years of construction. The facility has 85 wind turbines that produce enough electricity to supply up to 1.5 million Brazilian households.
