France Awards 948 MW Solar Projects

NEW DELHI--December 12, 2024--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The French Ministry of Solidarity and Ecological Transition (Paris) has awarded 948 megawatts (MW) of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity in its sixth Programmation Pluriannuelle de l'Énergie (PPE2) tender, held in November 2024. The allocation surpassed the initial target of 925 MW, which has been now distributed across 120 projects nationwide with the largest share of 333 MW in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region of France.
