Brazil Has Installed Almost 9 GW of Renewable Energy in 2024

The Brazilian energy ministry stated that up until October, the country has installed 9 gigawatts (GW) of new power capacity, from which 8.87 GW come from renewable energy. Minas Gerais is the state with the largest new capacity, with 2 GW, followed by Rio Grande do Norte and Piaui.
