December 3, 2024--Written by Amir Richani for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Brazil's Energy Minister Alexandre Silveira recently announced the sale of 91 oil blocks, which could net the government up to 2.4 billion Brazilian Reals (US$395.6 million).
The sale of these assets aims to increase the nation's oil output, which stands at 3.5 million barrels per day (BBL/d). Brazil is expected to reach volumes of 5.3 million BBL/d by the end of this decade.
