GALWAY, IRELAND--September 10, 2014 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Canada's Northland Power (Toronto, Canada) has agreed to take a majority share in three German offshore windfarms with a combined generating capacity of almost 1,000-megawatts (MW).
The independent power producer has signed a deal with German utility RWE Innogy, part of Germany's second largest power company RWE AG (OTC:RWEOY) (Essen, Germany), to take an 85% stake in the Nordsee cluster of projects.
