NEW DELHI--August 2, 2024--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas--China-based Sungrow (Hefei) has entered into three significant energy-storage contracts with Saudi Arabia's Algihaz Holding (Riyadh) to develop the world's largest grid-side standalone energy-storage facilities. Each facility will have a capacity of 2.6 gigawatt-hours (GWh), adding up to a total of 7.8 GWh. The projects are set to be located in Najran, Madaya, and Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia. According to the development timeline, deliveries are scheduled to begin this year, with grid connections anticipated by 2025.
