Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--India Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited's (New Delhi, India) plan of creating strategic crude oil storage terminals to provide additional petroleum storage capacity in various Indian locations seems to be at a standstill.
The much-hyped plans to construct four new strategic crude oil storage reserves in the regions of Rajkot, Chandikhole, Bikaner and Padur have stalled, and the government is seeking partners to implement these projects through a public-private partnership. If and when fully operational, the facilities will have a total capacity of approximately 20 million tons.
