Demand Drives $1 Billion-Plus in U.S. Fabricated Metal Projects

July 2, 2024--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Fabricated metals play a crucial role in holding together our homes, offices and shopping centers, and U.S. producers are preparing to expand their capacities to make everyday items to insulate houses, improve internet access and develop military tools, among other purposes. Not surprisingly, the highest-valued project set to begin construction in the coming months is expected to create some of the largest products in the sector: modular homes.

Industrial Info is tracking $1.15 billion worth of capital-spending projects in the U.S. fabricated-metal product sector that are set to begin construction from July through September, about 70% of which is attributed to grassroot projects.

Companies involved include Admares, CommScope Incorporated, ATAS International Incorporated, Wanzl GmbH & Company KGaA, Lexair Incorporated, Emerson Electric Company (NYSE:EMR) and Polyhose India Private Limited.
