EIA: Majority of U.S. Power Capacity Installed in 2018 Was Natural Gas-fired

SUGAR LAND--March 12, 2019--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), about 62% of all new power generation capacity installed in the U.S. last year consisted of natural gas-fired facilities, most of which were combined cycle plants.
