Shell Chemical's 1,954 million-pound-per-year OL-5 Ethylene, 1,409 million-pound-per-year GO-1S Ethylene, and related units, at its Plaquemine, Louisiana complex, remain shut down after Hurricane Ida made landfall on August 28. Shell continues to assess damages, and current expectations are to attempt a restart before the end of the month.
