Marathon is in the process of restarting the 140,000-barrel-per-day Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit 3 (FCCU) at its 437,000-BBL/d Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas City, Texas, which shut down on July 9 for undisclosed reasons. The unit should be restarted to normal rates within 24 to 48 hours.
