NEW DELHI--February 11, 2025--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Karnataka, a state in southern India, has set an ambitious target to add 20 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy capacity over the next five years. The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) (Bangalore) has proposed that 43.33% of the state's total energy consumption come from renewable sources by 2029-2030.
