October 9, 2024--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Hurricane Milton, a Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 165 miles per hour, was barreling toward the central Florida peninsula Tuesday morning, with its pathway gradually widening to engulf a larger swath of the Sunshine State, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
