Keystone Pipeline Set for Restart After April 8 Leak

April 15, 2025--Written by Daniel Graeber for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--South Bow Corporation (NYSE:SOBO) (Calgary, Alberta), the operator of the Keystone oil pipeline from Canada, aims to restart the artery this week after an April 8 leak, but only at reduced pressure. Pipeline owner and operator South Bow closed the artery last week after its leak detection systems revealed a pressure drop on the network. The company estimated that 3,500 barrels of oil were released in an agricultural field near the Fort Ransom Pump Station, about 60 miles southwest of Fargo, North Dakota.
