August 12, 2024--The U.S. Midwest region, which includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska and South Dakota, could be home to an additional 1 gigawatt (GW) of future battery-energy storage system (BESS) capacity through an Orsted A/S (Fredericia, Denmark) joint venture.
