The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) recently predicted U.S. ethanol production will average 1.02 million barrels per day (BBL/d) in 2024, unchanged from 2023; fuel ethanol blending is expected to average 940,000 BBL/d this year, up from 930,000 BBL/d in 2023.
